Client Registration & Grooming Waiver

​I warrant that my dog is fit and healthy to the best of my knowledge unless otherwise stated below, and acknowledge that it's my responsibility to inform Barks & Tails of any change in my dogs health or medical condition upon arrival, so that my pets file remains up to date.

 

Should my pet become ill or injured, Barks & Tails has permission to call or take the pet to a vet of their choice (should our vet be inaccessible), or administer first aid or give any other advisory treatment within their discretion and judgement. The expense incurred will be paid by the owner, unless Barks & Tails has caused injury as a direct result from the grooming process. Barks & Tails will not be held responsible for any sickness which occurs during the grooming process such as diarrhoea, vomiting or death by pre-existing health conditions, or natural disasters such as floods, fires or earthquakes.  

 

Matted and neglected fur on dogs require shorter blades to get under the coat and minor irritation or small grazes on the skin is an unfortunate hazard of the process, and one Barks & Tails cannot be held responsible for.

 

We reserve the right to charge additional fees for services we consider above the normal, covered by our standard rates, (such as aggression, fleas, or matted/neglected fur), and refuse any pet who pose a detriment to staff or other pets in our care such as parasites, aggressive behaviour, destruction and persistent urination and/or defecation. Cancellation | No show policy | Late arrivals

  • Clients who cancel less than 24 hours prior will be charged 100% of the reserved service amount, and may be requested to pay the full cost up front on future bookings.

  • There are no fee's applied for cancellations or reschedules that have given 24 hours or more notice.

  • No-shows will be charged 100% of the reserved service amount, and may be requested to pay the full cost up front on future bookings. 

  • We appreciate clients may be late through no fault of their own, however, late arrivals of more than 20 minutes may miss their treatment time, resulting in a no-show penalty. Please contact us if you're running late, and we'll do our best to accommodate you.

By submitting, I agree that I have read and understood the terms & conditions outlined by Barks & Tails, and give my consent from this day forwards for Barks & Tails to groom my dog. Should you NOT want your pet photographed for our website/facebook page, please tell us.
